Chandika 505 is a broad-spectrum insecticide containing Chlorpyrifos 50% + Cypermethrin 5% EC, designed for fast knockdown and effective control of major sucking and chewing pests in field crops.
Chandika 505 is a dual-action organophosphate and synthetic pyrethroid insecticide that provides strong control over a wide range of agricultural pests. It acts both through contact and stomach action, ensuring rapid elimination of target insects.
The combination of Chlorpyrifos and Cypermethrin delivers a two-pronged attack on the insect nervous system. Chlorpyrifos inhibits acetylcholinesterase activity, while Cypermethrin disrupts sodium channel function, leading to hyperexcitation, paralysis, and death of pests.
It is suitable for use in crops such as cotton, paddy, vegetables, and pulses where severe pest infestation occurs. Chandika 505 is effective for both preventive and curative applications and helps improve crop health and productivity.
