Gretel is a systemic broad-spectrum fungicide containing Carbendazim 50% WP, designed to control major fungal diseases such as blast, smut, anthracnose, and powdery mildew in a wide range of crops.
Gretel (Carbendazim 50% WP) is a systemic fungicide belonging to the benzimidazole group, widely used for effective management of fungal diseases in field and horticultural crops. It provides both preventive and curative action by inhibiting fungal cell division and germ tube development.
After application, Gretel is absorbed by the plant and translocated upward through the xylem, offering internal protection against fungal infections. It is effective against a wide range of pathogens including blast, smut, leaf spot, powdery mildew, and anthracnose.
It is commonly used in cereals, pulses, vegetables, and fruit crops, and is suitable for inclusion in Integrated Disease Management (IDM) programs due to its reliable performance and cost-effectiveness.
