PureCal+ is a high-solubility calcium chloride dihydrate formulation designed to rapidly supply calcium to crops. It improves fruit firmness, reduces physiological disorders like bitter pit and blossom end rot, and enhances overall crop quality and shelf life in fruits and vegetables.
PureCal+ is a fast-acting liquid calcium nutrition product formulated with highly soluble calcium chloride dihydrate. It is widely used in modern horticulture to correct calcium deficiencies that affect fruit quality, storage life, and plant structural strength.
Calcium plays a critical role in cell wall development, membrane stability, and nutrient transport within the plant system. Regular use of calcium chloride-based nutrition helps improve fruit firmness, reduces cracking and rotting issues, and enhances post-harvest shelf life. It is especially effective in high-value fruit crops where quality and marketability are key priorities.
This formulation is highly compatible for foliar applications and is rapidly absorbed by plant tissues, making it an efficient correction tool during critical growth stages.
Technical Composition:
Calcium Chloride Dihydrate (CaCl₂·2H₂O) – Water Soluble Calcium Source
Fertilizer Type:
Secondary Nutrient Fertilizer (Calcium Source)
Supplies readily available calcium ions that strengthen cell wall structure, improve membrane integrity, and regulate physiological processes like nutrient transport, enzyme activation, and fruit development.
Rapid absorption through foliar application and translocation within plant tissues for quick correction of calcium deficiency.
Apple | Bitter pit prevention, fruit firmness improvement | 1.5–2% solution | Foliar spray
Tomato | Blossom end rot control, fruit quality improvement | 1–2% solution | Foliar spray
Capsicum / Chilli | Fruit cracking reduction, better shelf life | 1–2% solution | Foliar spray
Grapes | Berry firmness & cracking control | 1–2% solution | Foliar spray
Vegetables | Calcium deficiency correction | 1–2% solution | Foliar spray
PHI (Pre-Harvest Interval):
No specific residue-based restriction. However, foliar calcium applications should ideally be stopped a few days before harvest in delicate fruit crops to maintain surface quality.
REI (Re-Entry Interval):
4–6 hours after application or until foliage is completely dry. Re-entry can be done earlier only with protective equipment.
Apply as a uniform foliar spray ensuring full coverage of leaves and developing fruits. Avoid application during extreme heat or high evaporation conditions for best absorption.
